I am glad to let you know that I had a great time with my host family and enjoyed the experience of living in London very much. Despite some challenging months due to the Corona Pandemic, we managed to make the best out of it and in the end we all had a pleasant time together. Best regards, Cassandra...

Thank you very much for everything you and your team have done for me during the last year. I really appreciated your help and support and I think you are doing a really good job! Thank you! I really enjoyed my stay in England with my host family. During my whole stay every family member was always very kind, polite and understanding. They treated me as part of the family and supported me in everything I did. I felt very comfortable....

I really enjoyed my stay in Beckenham/Bromley. I would recommend my host family to everyone who can deal with a lot of energy from two young girls! Sadly I did not stay until the end but that is due to obvious reasons and not because I wanted to leave! I met friends at Bromley College and we still keep in contact. I will definitely visit my host family again once travelling gets easier again! All in all, it was a wonderful time in the UK and I do not regret going there. ...

My feedback about my stay in England : My host family was so nice with me and always made me feel comfortable in their house and for everything. They were adorable and they tried to bring me to places around UK even if it was not easy due to the coronavirus. My stay was good but also really difficult because of the lockdown. I had to be a teacher for 3 months with a tough little boy in terms of behavior. So I needed to be very patient and say nothing. It was very hard times for me. Fortunately, the little girl was very cute and kind. I did some activities with the kids and we tried having fun as much as possible despite the situation. Thanks to this experience, I improved my english so I’m very proud of me, I learned a new culture and I met a great family !...

Unfortunately, my year here in England is coming to an end soon and first I wanted to say a big thank you for the mediation. I had a wonderful time and was able to gain many new experiences. Despite Corona, I am very happy to have stayed with my host family, because I do not want to miss the time....

I really enjoyed the last few months over here. It has been a totally new experience and especially due to the extraordinary circumstances concerning lockdown and social distancing there has always been a new situation from which I could learn something. I enjoyed the time with my host family, always felt comfortable and had a lot of fun overall. However, of course, I did not get to see as much from London as I whished. That is also why I was very glad to still have my English course which I attended at South Thames College in Wandsworth and which I highly recommend....
Happy German Au PairPosted on 25th June 2020
I wanted to inform you that I'm flying back to Germany on 20 June. Even with the Covid-19 pandemic I decided to stay with my host family until the end and I'm very happy that I did that. Family Bowman is very lovely and always asked about my well-being and supported me. I also made lots of friends while I was here and with some I am still in contact and I'm going to be in contact with them after my au pair. At the beginning of my au pair I also attended the language school Lexis in Central Finchley and my intended length was 3 months which I completed in the middle of February. As I started on 19 October, my stay will be 8 months long and I would never exchange these 8 months (even with the pandemic). I made great friends, had an unforgettable time and my host family was amazing!...

It was the best experience I ever had. I couldn’t have asked for a better family to live with and to spend my time with. I enjoed every single day in England, thanks to my host family and the friends I met there. The area was beautiful! Since I was able to drive with a car, I had the opportunity to explore the area a bit more. To get to Manchester was also very easy from there and Ive been there every weekend. All in all I can say that there was nothing that I didn’t like.I would always do it again...

I enjoyed my life in United Kingdom. People are very friendly. I lived here for 10 months and i have no regrets about my choice. My Au pair family was lovely and very open-minded. I visited plenty of amazing places (Canterbury, Oxford, Liverpool, Manchester,Coventry, Cardiff and Dublin). I just want to say : do not hesitate to live in England....

I really enjoyed staying with the Westcott family and I couldn't imagine a better family for my aupair experience. They welcomed me open-heartedly and I really felt at home and like a part of their family. I would definitely recommend the Westcotts to any other future aupair. Besides, I had a wonderful time in the UK and as my host family provided a car for me, I was able to travel a lot through the country and see amazing place (e.g. Stonehenge, York, Leeds and Seven Sisters). Furthermore, the Aupair UK app made it very easy to connect with other aupairs in my area - some of them became close friends I am still in contact with....

I had the most amazing time of my life during the stay with Familiy Chichester in London. Familiy Chichester was so kind, very caring and always helped me when I had questions or were unsure about different kind of things. They really became friends of mine and I can highly recommend them to any other Au-Pair or especially to Demi Pairs, as they respected and helped me with school duties all the time....

I had an amazing time and summer with my family. I gained so much more experience concerning child care, cooking and baking (Stephanie is an amazing cook and taught me many things), taking care of a dog and of ponies (we did pony club camp for example), english traditions and traditional english food ( like cornish pastry or fudge) etc. At the weekend I had enough free time and managed to see Bath, Salisbury, Bristol, London, Brighton and Oxford but also local places like Longleat, Warminster, Frome, the Haynes Motor Museum, Motissfont... I´m so thankful for this time and can absolutely recommend the family!...

My experience in the UK was a fantastic opportunity to improve my English, meet new people and for my personal growth. The family (parents Rob and Serena and the two kids) is absolutely welcoming, open, friendly and always available. I really had a great time and felt home with them. I definitively recommend the family for other Au Pair....

I absolutely loved my gap year. The family was just amazing; they accepted and integrated me from the first second on and helped me out whenever I needed their help and advice. Besides the area I lived in was wonderful; although there are not any supermarkets etc. in the village I was offered to use a car for example to get to the neighbor village and language school, which is a 10-15 min drive. It is a 10 min walk to the station and it took me 40 min to get into Central London by train. I would not recommend the area to people who want to have lots of action and pubs as it is a small village but it is perfect for those who like silence, green areas, luxury and meeting lots of Au-Pairs. I really enjoyed my time in England and would recommend the family to everyone. I think it really depends on the person itself whether he/she likes the area or not....

I had a fantastic time and made friends all over the world. There is a what‘sapp group with Au Pairs in Bedford which was nice. My host family has been amazing and always comforted me. Hello, My name is Šárka Helusová and I stayed with the host family Budd. I' ve arrived on the 14th July 2019 and I'll be leaving on the 10th September 2019. Unfortunately I haven't attended any language school because I wanted to enjoy the summer. Anyway I would definetely recommend the host Family Budd to another Au Pair. They are lovely people with lovely children who are really helpful, creative and already a bit independent. With the family I had so much opportunities to visit their friends and spend weekends with them. They are very nice to me and I've never had any conflicts with them. At the beginnig they explained me all the rules how to take care about children and some others during my staying. My host family likes to play boardgames so we have always something to do and also they have a big garden which it's perfect to get children outside. I was also really grateful for trying to understand my English and help with my pronuncitation. Honestly they are the be st host family which I ever could wish and I will definitely rocommend these amazing people for new one Au Pairs....

I have lived the most amazing, interesting and lovely summer thanks to the best host family! I have met beautiful people and seen so many stunning places! That was a summer that I will never forget! I come back to France with so many beautiful memories in my mind! I am sure it has changed me forever! I come back to France even more open minded than I was before going to the UK! I will miss my host family, that I consider now as my English family, so much! Becoming an au pair in the UK for the summer was the best decision of my life!...

"It was a wonderful experience. The family was great, very helpful, kind, funny, they are perfect. If another Aupair comes to their home she can only be happy. I have met some friend, I go out, I basically do my life here. But I went back home almost every Half-Term because I was free and my family was very nice about that. I am really happy and glad about my journey here, I have learn a lot of things, I grew up and my english is improved even if i was expecting to improve it even better. I am proud of me because I was not sure to stay at a moment because of the “home seek” and I went through it but it is time for me to go back home."...

I had a lovely year here in England, even if I struggled a lot with homesickness at the beginning. Evesham is not a very popular and rural town, but in the cities around (like Worcester and Cheltenham) are quite a few other Au pairs. I really can say that I made friends for a lifetime :-). We traveled a lot. My hostfamily was nice as well and I have a really good relationship to my two boys here. I'll miss England and all the people that I met here a lot! Thank you very much for everything :-)....

My stay in this host family was one of the best things of my life. I learned so much. I saw so many places. My host family always helped me with everything, gave me tipps where to go, how to come there. The Taliotis-family are some of the best people in this world. With kindness and patience they helped me to make this year unforgettable. I will never forget them and I will stay in touch with them, hopefully for a long long time! London is an amazing city. You can find everything here - from poor to rich, from lively to quiet, from cool to chic. The only thing you will never find is boringness. The best for an Au-Pair in London is it’s easy to find friends, because so many Au-Pairs from all over the world are coming to London. London is basically THE city for Au-Pairs!...

I just wanted to give you a little update on how things are going. I am really glad I am in this family. They are absolutely lovely and we have a very strong connection. I am really happy here and I have a great time. I have also met a lot of other au pairs in this area, where I spend a lot of time with! I also started my economic course lately. Next weekend I will go to the Netherlands to attend a selection day for my study. Unfortunately my trip will almost come to an end. My final day will be the 20nd of December, where I will take the Eurostar back home. I want to thank you again for all the help and finding this amazing family for me!...

To be an au pair in London was the best decision that I could have made. I really enjoyed this year a lot. My host family welcomed me with lots of love and I felt like a part of the family. I was quite nervous to be an au pair for an elderly woman because I have never heard of it before. But together with the support of my host family we found a good way that worked for both of us. I am really happy to give their mother Hildegard the opportunity to stay in the house and to live her life in a better quality than in a home. The family was very polite, helpful, understandable, open minded and just incredible. A special thanks to the grandson Ayrton that is living in the house and Hildegards daughter Ruth that were organising the au pair thing! They were always listening and looking for solutions. Of course it is a very hard job to look after a elderly woman but I really enjoyed my time here. I can totally recommend my host family to everyone! I felt like I was in best hands and I am really happy to stayed with them for this year....

It was incredible! This allowed me to learn about myself and made me more mature I think. London is also a beautiful city with so many places to see! Take care of children was not so easy that I was thinking but I had fun with them and I really enjoyed my time with these twins! I just want to say thank you because it was a wonderful experience and would never change this! I’m very glad of my stay and I hope the next Au Pair who’s going to come in this host family going to enjoy her stay as much as me!...

It has been a lovely time here in the UK with a brilliant host family and I wanted to thank you again for all the help before and during my stay here. I actually intended to only stay until March 31st, but I enjoyed my stay so much, that I stayed longer than planned. I loved every minute of it! The family was super nice and understandable. I'm normally not that outgoing with new people in my life and therefore more reserved, but the parents completely welcomed me into their family, so much, that they felt like a second family to me. But not only the parents were amazing, their little son, who is now 3 years old is also incredible. I had so much fun taking care of him. Communicating with him was never a problem since he can speak really really good for his age and also understands, when you try to explain something to him. He's very reasonable in that sense and has an incredible memory. Of course he can also be a little cheeky sometimes, but in a very endearing way, where you can only smile or start laughing. He's actually more caring (He, for example, loves babies and immediately starts to stroke them!) than cheeky, but as I said, if he is in that kind of mood, it's always fun to be around him. So to conclude my comment, I really really enjoyed my time with the whole family and couldn't have asked for a better one to stay in! …...

I have been an au pair in London for almost a year now. I have had the most amazing gap year that I could have ever asked for, I have done things throughout this year that I would have never dreamt of doing, especially at the age of 18. Finishing year twelve, I was just not ready to go to university, I didn’t know what I wanted to study and I wasn’t ready to start a degree that I was unsure of. I have always had the urge to travel but never really had the chance. Looking at it financially I knew I wouldn’t just be able to travel a whole year without working. I looked online for a while until I came across JCR Au Pair And Nannies, childcare internationals sister company in Australia. The idea of looking after kids, while receiving board, food and pocket money seemed too good to be true. I have always loved kids, and had been babysitting for friends of the family and relative since I was 13. After applying through JCR they made the entire process easy and stress free. After skyping with a few families, I was lucky enough to find an amazing family in Wimbledon in London which is where I am today. I look after 3 gorgeous boys and work on average 35 hours a week, with 2 babysittin…...
